How it works

  1. Connect GitHub

Authorise GreenGrid with your GitHub account.

  2. Select a repository

Pick the repository GreenGrid may update.

  3. Choose your schedule

Days, time and timezone are all yours.

  4. GreenGrid performs the configured maintenance

One commit per scheduled run, through the official API.

  5. GitHub processes the resulting commit normally

GitHub decides how the commit is reflected on your profile.

About GitHub contributions

GreenGrid creates real repository commits through GitHub's APIs. GitHub independently determines which commits appear on your contribution graph based on its contribution rules.

Read GitHub's contribution documentation

GreenGrid does not control GitHub's contribution graph. Whether an activity appears on your profile depends on GitHub's contribution rules.
